Fun clean tubes coming through this location this morning. We had our first rain of the season last night, a healthy one at that. Winds are light offshore again. Waves should be similar all week long.

Playa Santana provided some fun wedgy peaks today. Wind was glassy to slight onshore making conditions very strikeable. Took shots for 30 minutes and our old friends and repeat guests Pat and Kali Emery were all over it giving it an old fashioned smackdown.

Playa Santana was giving us the goods today. Plenty of tubes and rippable sections to be had and everyone was going off. Check it out.

we got a small group together to help out with the beach cleanup put on by Paso Pacifico. Thanks for your time Chal, Kai, Jon, and Justin!
we collected over 15 bags of trash from the beach road between Popoyo and Santana. There was a great turnout from the youngsters in the area with almost 150 turning up to sweep the beach. Thanks to Paso Pacifico and Dave from Rancho Santana for organizing this event.

Playa Santana provided fun surf in the head high range with strong sunshine and light offshores today. They were several people walking along the beach enjoying the weather, but few surfers in the water. Check out some of today’s action.

beautiful day at the beach today. here’s our guest Katrina from Norway cooling off while our guest Christian from St. Barths takes some photos

Playa Santana offered up some fun little wedges in the chest to head high range this morning. We had a bit of onshore wind yesterday from Tropical Storm Ernesto in the Carribean, but everything seems to be returning to normal this morning with light offshore winds.

we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed while watching this system. It has the same forecast track as Tropical Storm Ernesto, who recently gave us a few days of onshores.
Playa Santana Nicaragua provided some fun tubes this morning on the incoming tide. Our guest Jordan from South Carolina just brought a water camera down and I swam out to test it out. Here’s a few water shots from the first try with the water camera.
This peak was a little consistent. Saw Mario walking up the beach to another peak. He’s a human highlight reel and is always is in the right spot when the good ones come in. Swam over to Mario, and he didn’t disappoint.

Popoyo Nicaragua Surf Report. We had a moderate long period SW groundswell mixing in with a shorter period W windswell thanks to Hurricane Charlotta up near Mexico. Conditions were fun and light offshore. Lots of waves coming in from different directions.
We cruised over to a nearby beachbreak and found fun wedges thanks to the peaky, short interval mixed swell.

We loaded up the rig this morning with Chris and Jenny Brown from South Carolina and Fred, Corrado, Romain, and Damien from France looking for waves. We arrived and found draining overhead tubes.

Fun off-season surf continues. Here’s the first spot we checked.

We checked out another spot mid-day and here is what we found
Darrell Goodrum was out ripping, blowing tail and boosting all over the place
We’ll leave you with a sequence of Darrell double hand dragging through a barrel
nice one!

Hi surfers, Mike here with your Saturday morning surf report. We woke up and had some breakfast and coffee and cruised down to a nearby beachbreak on the incoming tide. We were the first ones on it and everyone got some good ones.
Joe, Jeremy, Travis, and Spiro on the way out
our guest Adam from San Clemente has been killing it and logging major water time and wave count. He found this tube this morning, the first of a few dozen
our guest Jeremy from Oceanside, CA
Joe from L.A. looking for some shade
Spiro from Washington D.C. pigdogging a fun left
Travis from San Clemente found some wedges to his liking
Popoyo local Peliguay came by our surf compound this morning jonesing to come with us to this break. we lent him this twin fin and he was ripping on it and stoked!
Adam again, fangin off the top of a racy left
sorry bro, missed your name, but got plenty of good photos of you from this day!
our boy AJ again, going off this day
Jan always gets some good ones
Mario on a nice right. If you’ve surfed this beach, you know he’s always at the right place at the right time…
