Popoyo Nicaragua offered several peaks this morning. Outer Reef Popoyo, Inside Corner of Outer Reef, Popoyo Proper, and the rivermouth peak all had surfers catching waves. Popoyo Nicaragua showing small surf this morning. New swell appears to be picking up. We’ll give it 2 out of 5 chile peppers for right now, but it should be improving all day. Looks like the surf will be in the excellent range the next several days. Stay tuned.

Popoyo Nicaragua Surf Report, May 6

Popoyo was showing perfect waves all day today. There wasn’t a need to go anywhere else today. Long walls and plenty of barrels were on tap, and crowds were light as it seems everybody is either surfed out from all the swell or went home last week because of all the rain.

Popoyo provided fun surf today. We showed up at the beach at the morning low tide, and the surf improved as the tide came in. Offshore winds were stiff today. We’ll give the surf 3 out of 5 chile peppers.

Popoyo Nicaragua continues with fun waves today. Been giving surf lessons to our new friend Gaston from Argentina for the past couple weeks. Today we got Gaston into some fun little waves at a spot down the street, and then over to Popoyo in the afternoon. Safe travels home Gaston!
