Hi guys, Mike here with your Tuesday morning surf report. Tahiti swell continues to linger and the waves are 5-7 foot with occasional 3 foot overhead with light and variable winds. Scattered clouds and water 83 degrees.

we had our first nice sunrise in a few days, it has been raining and cloudy each morning lately
plenty of lefts pouring through all morning, this swell has been hitting for almost a week

Perfectly angled swell coming through this morning sent lines pouring down the point. Mostly cloudy skies. Good conditions lasted for a few precious hours. A rare onshore bump came on around 9am.
ps. We did have our first rain of the year last night. Goodbye to the dust and hello to the mud and greener pastures 
Popoyo Nicaragua Outer Reef was doing it’s thing this morning. We’ve had a couple “small” outer reef days earlier this year during our stellar off-season, but this was the first Outer Reef swell of the 2011 surf season. It was pretty hard offshore out there. Pushing over the ledge of an outer reef bomb blinded by offshore spray is challenging to say the least, but 3 chargers were on it – Manuel, Cabezon, and Lance.

Popoyo Nicaragua Surf Report. The swell peaked last night and is holding nicely this morning. It’s been great having some guys who rip in the water to shoot lately. A little overhead on the sets and good form on the incoming tide. Around high tide the wind picked up and the form suffered slightly. We’ve been on a nice little roll and hopefully it won’t stop. Tomorrow is forecast to be a tad smaller with lighter winds. Another swell due to hit this weekend and more beyond that

Popoyo Nicaragua offered barrels at 4 different peaks today. The deep peak at Outer Reef, the corner, the main Popoyo peak, and the rivermouth all had peeling tubes with light offshores. Kegs coming in everywhere with beautiful conditions. Check out the photos!
