Rentals of surf boards and bikes are sure to make your visit to Popoyo more enjoyable.
Boards are $10 a day or $60 for the week.
Surf boards available are:
- SIX 6’2″ high performance thrusters (6.2X18.5X2.25, perfect for the waves here)
- 6’6″ high performance epoxy thruster (6.2X19X2.25, a little floatier, easier to catch waves)
- 6’4″ Local Motion Ricky Carrol Shape from Hawaii
- Two 6’6″ Al Merrick thrusters, one epoxy, one regular (for the bigger or older guys)
- 6’8″ Big Guy board
- 7’6″ Epoxy fun shape, good for beginners or surf lessons
grab a bike and check the scene!
We also rent bikes, which are an excellent way to get around on our local terrain. Two of the bikes are outfitted with carver surf racks for carrying boards. From our property, the surf break of Popoyo is only a 5 minute bike ride away, and the peaks of Santana are a 10 minute bike ride. The bikes are available for $4 per day.
Hi Mike, Gui and I have decided against bringing our own boards because of the handling charges so I will need a board for the week! Preferably a 6’8 with a bit of float.
I weigh 150 lbs and am 5’4 in height. Whichever you think would work for my dimensions and what you have available. Thanks so much!

i hear the waves are good with out crowds and sink Eye are the locals Cool what time of the year are the waves the best ? how far are you from the beach and do you have rooms for rent with boards? 9-6 long board , how much for rooms. is it safe there ? sand bottom or reef .
